Founders Day Retreat 2024

Greetings Sorors,

As we continue to prepare for our Founders Day Retreat we are excited to share updates, payment information and lodging details. This retreat is not only a time to honor our Founders, but to also fellowship and reclaim sorors.  Please share this email with active and inactive sorors that would like to attend. There is also a flyer attached to this email that can be shared also.

The Kingstree- Lake City DST Founders Day Retreat is February 23-25, 2024 at Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation, 9800 Queensway Blvd. North Myrtle Beach, SC 29572.

Registration and Payments

    The registration fee is $125. The registration fee is due by Jan 13, 2024.  There are three options available to make payments.

• The finance Officers will receive payments at 8:30am before scheduled sorority meetings (December 9 and January13). Checks ONLY. No payments will be collected during or after sorority meetings.
• Checks can be mailed to P.O. Box 435 Kingstree, SC 29556. Please include your name and/or Delta Membership number and denote that payment is for Founders Day.
• Electronic payments can be made via Zelle or PayPal. Please include Name, Delta Membership Number and denote that payment is for Founders Day.

  • PayPal: finance@klcalumnaedst.org (Please add $4.85 for the processing fee, total $129.85)

Lodging

The host hotel, Embassy Suites at Kinsgston Plantation has begun accepting reservations.  The hotel rooms are $184/ night + $20 resort fee and parking.  Reservations must be completed by January 24, 2024.

There are two options to reserve your rooms.

• You may call in to Embassy Reservation Line at (800) 876- 0010. Select Option 2 for Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach Resort.  Identify yourself as guest of Kingstree- Lake City Alumnae- Delta Sigma Theta and use the SRP code: KLC.
